Eileen

Eileen (Anoma) has been with us she was a mere four weeks old.She is now 11 years old. She joined us in November 2002, just 2 days after my mother’s death.  My mother was named Eileen. Little Eileen was and is a godsend who arrived at the time as I was grieving for my mother. Her own mother gave her to us so she could marry a man who didn’t want her children and said if we wouldn’t take her she would throw her in the trash. She did marry the man who then gave her AIDS. Eileen stole my heart from the get-go. I have rarely seen such treasure in a child.  She is the most loving little rascal with the smile and laugh which cracks everyone up. Naturally she can con me in to buying her chocolate or ice cream, or dresses, etc. She loves to shop.  After all, she is a princess. All she has to do is smile and say, “Daddy can I have some chocolate, please?”  She has taught all the other children here to do the same thing. Eileen has some learning difficulties but she tries hard and is a very loving little girl.  Dolls and dresses and always combing and fixing everyone’s hair, that is the essence of Eileen. She is fully sponsored by Matt Lear from Canada.
